FIRST NATIONAL MANCHESTER

STATUS: Complete

The First National Bank renovation project encompassed creating a new image for an existing 8,496 square foot two-story brick building in Manchester TN.  The design addressed the challenge from three scales.  The first was established by seeking design inspiration from the town square and the historic Coffee County courthouse in particular.  The second addressed community visibility by implementing a glass lantern at the gable roof ends illuminated at dusk visible from varying distances identifying the bank.  The third measure changed the building interior creating inviting spaces reflecting the different zones using scale, material, and color.
